Daily Prompt: Being Moony!

Daily Prompt: This is clearly subjective, but some words really sound like the thing they describe (personal favorites: puffin; bulbous; fidgeting). Do you have an example of such a word (or, alternatively, of a word that sounds like the exact opposite of what it refers to)? What do you think creates this effect?

Moon. I just think it sounds so… so moony. I think it’s the two Os that make it sound like a round word, but then you could say it’s just because we’ve grown up knowing that the moon is called the moon. That could be said about any word though… I remember spending two hours in an English Language lesson discussing this, so I’m going to stop now!
